You are Ecology Ottawa

Ecology Ottawa is volunteer driven. That means what we get done gets done mostly by volunteers, and because volunteers have helped decide on Ecology Ottawa’s priorities.

We depend on volunteers to get the word out, organize events, research innovative solutions to urban environmental problems, and help with our database. Together, we can make a big difference – a small contribution of your time can go a long way! Please consider being part of the Ecology Ottawa team.

How Do I Volunteer?

It’s easy!

  1. Take a look at our campaigns and initiatives on the website.
  2. E-sign our volunteer agreement and complete a short questionnaire on your interests.
  3. Current volunteer opportunities are posted regularly. You will also be added to an e-mail list for Ecology Ottawa volunteers and will begin receiving monthly emails about volunteer opportunities.
  4. To get involved right away, please email erik.pervin@ecologyottawa.ca indicating your area of interest. We’ll do our best to match you with the right team as soon as possible.
