Change is in the air

Version française

It’s moments like these that put everything into perspective.

Last Sunday, Ecology Ottawa partnered with organizations from across Canada for the largest climate mobilization in the history of Ottawa. We rallied with 25,000 of our friends from as far away as Vermont and Lac Saint-Jean to tell our government that a transition to a clean energy economy is 100% Possible.

A few days earlier, we toasted the vibrant Ottawa environmental community at our Annual Eco Gala. We gathered with over 500 of our friends, including politicians from across the country, local businesses and labour groups.

You can feel it. Change is in the air. More than ever before, Ecology Ottawa is at the forefront of winning efforts to protect our urban tree canopy, promote safe and healthy transportation options, and drive action on clean energy and climate change.

We’re making progress, but we still have lots of work to do. That’s why we’re asking for your help today, on Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to giving back – across Canada and in communities like our own. Will you donate $25 today to help us make Ottawa the green capital of Canada?

Donations help plant trees, clean rivers, replace tarmac with greenery, make streets safer and reduce emissions across Ottawa. They help communities across the city to take action on the local environmental concerns that matter most to them.

We’re proud of the work we’ve done, and we look forward to building on the incredible momentum of the past year to make meaningful and lasting change for the city we love. Please help us make this happen – make a Giving Tuesday contribution of $25 today.

Many thanks,

Graham Saul
