The 2015 federal election is a critical opportunity to take a giant leap forward on environmental issues affecting Ottawa. Federal decisions impact everything from the health of our watersheds, to the strength of our response to climate change, to urban development issues like light rail.
That’s why we’re working hard to promote environmental leadership in the run-up to election day on October 19th. To read in-depth about our election campaign, click here. Some Ottawa ridings are important battlegrounds, read here what our polling says about strategic voting opportunities.
We need your help to get out the vote on election day! On Monday, October 19th, it’s all hands on deck as Ecology Ottawa works to promote environmental leadership in the Ottawa-area swing ridings of Nepean, Kanata-Carleton, Orléans and Ottawa West-Nepean. We need people to help with canvassing and phoning voters in our two target ridings. For more information and to RSVP, click here.
