Ecology Ottawa’s Community Network: building the Green Capital of Canada

You are invited to join us in celebration of Ecology Ottawa’s Community Network!

Community Network neighbourhood teams have initiated projects across the City from Orleans to Kanata, from Lowertown to Huntclub. Join us to celebrate the hundreds of volunteers who help build sustainable communities to make Ottawa the green capital of Canada!

In recognition of Sustainable Transportation Week (Sept. 16-22) and the review of the Transportation Master Plan, Ecology Ottawa and the Lowertown Community Association will release Lowertown’s Active Transportation Audit Report.

Two other communities will also share their local initiatives: North Sawmill Creek Restoration Project and Orlando Park Naturalization Project.

We are grateful for the Trillium Foundation‘s generous contribution towards establishing the Community Network. Join us to thank them, Hon. Madeleine Meilleur, and our community leaders in person.
