• On average, our food travels over 2,000 km from farm to table.

• Producing a single hamburger patty uses enough fuel to drive a car 20 miles.

• Agricultural revenue in Ottawa is greater than that of Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary combined.

• There are over 42,000 cattle and 60,000 hens and chickens in Ottawa.
